Having developed a rich warmth and depth of colour to the oak over the many centuries.
Original ornate iron lock.
Offers an abundance of storage space.
The overall condition is good, with signs of use consistent with age. Historical repairs to the top due to minor shrinkage of the two planks, visible in pictures. Replacement hinges, original ring hinges still apparent.
Very solid sturdy and strong.
