Victorian, lidded, silver wine jug/ewer; of fine classical form, with typical flat-chased engraving to the body, vacant cartouches, and a superb cast ''grape and vine'' handle. The lid/cover has a delightful ''vine'' thumbpiece. This is high quality ewer by a fine maker.
