Large Antique English Pierced Or Reticulated Serving Tray By J.H. Potter C.1890

A wonderfully decorative late Victorian silverplated tray with an exquisite pierced or reticulated border and fine quality all-over engraving.
 
Each side of the tray has an integral shaped cut-out handle. The centre of the tray retains the original presentation engraving.
 
The underside has a full makers mark for the well renowned silversmith, J.H. Potter of Sheffield. The retailer''s mark is also present for the retailer, W. Pepper.
 
Excellent condition, measuring 24'' x 16 1/2''.
