London 1929 Cased Set Pair of Solid Silver Gilt Topped Cut Glass Scent Bottles in Leather Case.

Description

London 1929, assayed the year of the US stock market crash, a pair of fine quality cut glass scent bottles with English hallmarked solid silver gilt tops, contained in the original fitted leather case.

The bottles also have their original inner cut glass stoppers.

The bottles are simply and beautifully cut with faceted shoulders, while the inner stoppers, hidden until the silver tops are removed, are round with sharply cut edges.

Size of bottles: 2.75 inches high by 1.5 inches wide. The whole case is 3.5 inches by 3 inches.

A fine all original set in very good condition, which would make a very romantic and practical present.

Excellent gift for an 80th birthday!
