London 1875 Victorian Period English hallmarked solid silver large pair of a two handled sugar bowl, and cream jug by Robert Hennel, famous maker.
This lovely pair to use when serving tea or coffee, have lovely crisp all over bright cut engraving, including on the handles, very interesting shapes, and are heavy with a thick gauge of silver. There is applied strap work around the top edges of each piece.
There are cartouches on both sides-one side being vacant and suitable to personalise if you wish, and the other one bearing Laura 1876, the original owner.
Size-Sugar bowl is 7.5 inches wide by 3 inches high.
Size-Cream jug is 6 inches wide by 3 inches high.
Total weight-430 grams.
An unusually beautiful pair in very good condition, made by a very well known maker, with clear silver hallmarks.
