Camphor trunks of this type were not always looked upon as a fashionable and desirable decorative item. They were designed to with-stand heavy and continuous use in all four corners of the globe; the wonderful condition and colour of this trunk makes it a particularly good example of its type.
Professionally and sympathetically restored we have retained its surface and colour whilst accentuating the beautiful timber and its original brass strapping.
