Large Paris Porcelain Table Lamp in Qianlong Style

1900 - 1920
Description

This is an early 20th century Paris Porcelain table lamp of good size in the Chinese Qianlong style. The lamp features a lidded urn shape with elegant entwined flower designs and birds in foliage, hand-applied in white enamel. It has a gilt metal stand with blind fret detail on an ebonised wood base. The lamp takes three standard single large bayonet bulbs and stands at 86 cm in height, including the shade, with a base measuring 15 cm square. It has been fully rewired with gold cable and is shown with a new Graham and Green 40 cm pleated shade, available separately. The price is for the lamp only.
