This antique Art Deco ring dates from circa 1925 and originates from the 1920s. The piece takes the form of an 18ct white gold and platinum two-stone diamond ring in a toi et moi design, featuring a vertical arrangement of two six-claw set Old European round cut diamonds. Stepped shoulders display collet set baguette cut diamonds in an iconic tiered formation, complemented by a pierced decorated setting and clear hallmarks to the interior of the shank alongside the numerals 75. The silver coloured metalwork provides a polished finish. Art Deco glamour informs the geometric elegance and architectural character of the design, celebrating a lasting partnership with romantic symbolism. The ring works well as an engagement ring or personal jewellery, worn on the hand for special occasions or daily elegance. The scale of the setting measures 1.06 cm in width and 5.19 mm in height, with a ring size of UK H 1/2 and USA 4, weighing 2.90 grams.

Art Deco diamond rings from the 1920s and 1930s are characterised by geometric symmetry, clean linear silhouettes, and architectural influences. They frequently feature central focal stones flanked by baguette or step-cut accent diamonds set in white precious metals.

Jewellers during the Art Deco era primarily utilised platinum and 18ct white gold to highlight the brilliance of diamonds. Accent stones often included baguette, emerald, or calibre-cut diamonds and coloured gemstones set using fine claw or rub-over techniques.

Authentic pieces generally display period metal purity hallmarks such as 750 for 18ct gold or PLAT. Look for geometric construction, hand-cut diamond facets such as old European or early brilliant cuts, and precise step-cut shoulder details.

An Art Deco two-stone ring serves as a distinctive signature piece that pairs seamlessly with minimalist modern tailoring or evening wear. The cool tones of white gold and linear diamond shoulders allow it to stack alongside slim metal bands.

Clean the ring gently using warm water, mild liquid soap, and a soft-bristled brush to remove dust from beneath the settings. Have the claws and shoulder mountings inspected periodically by a professional jeweller to ensure structural security.
