Lancastrian Jewellers has dated this Silver Albert Watch Chain to the 1930s.
The chain was named after Prince Albert, who was said to have been fond of wearing watch chains. The Dog clips would have attached a pocket watch or fob, and the T-Bar would go through the buttonhole of a waistcoat to secure it in place.

This antique silver Albert watch chain remains in very good condition. The links show minor surface wear and antique patina. Having hallmarked components and a great length, this is a desirable chain in fabulous condition.
