Edwardian Hand Fretted Silver Standish on Oak Base

Description

Rare and beautiful edwardian hand fretted silver standish on original oak base. It features two original glass inkwells with silver tops and a hand pierced centrepiece for notes/cards. The stand is hallmarked for birmingham 1905 with maker's mark j&c. The stand is in excellent, original condition showing no signs of wear. I was told that this was made for a special gift.
