Description

A late 19thc French good quality cast brass candleholder on stand c1880. The holder and scalloped sconce stand on a hexagon of petal shapes, each one featuring in relief a decorative version of the fleur de lys against a lightly hammered (bradalled) background. The holder is carried by a decorative handle and stands on 3 small ball feet. Very decorative, typical of late 19th French metalwork.
