Fine Victorian Silver Buckle Bracelet, Birmingham 1886–87

This very good quality hallmarked large silver hinge buckle bracelet was made in Birmingham at Jackson Brothers, who were manufacturing jewellers in Great Hampton Street, Birmingham. They worked between 1882 and 1893, producing bracelets and lockets.

This fine large example is beautifully made in a good gauge of solid silver.

The buckle decoration is very detailed and intricately and finely hand engraved with a leafy floral design set within delicately detailed boarders.

The bracelet is in excellent original condition, retaining most of its original satin finish.

The hinge and spring loaded catch are also in excellent working order.

The bracelet is very rare in this condition and would be a good addition to a collection or an absolute pleasure to wear.
