Exeter Silver Sugar Tongs

Description

A good example of solid Sterling Silver sugar tongs. They are stylish and good quality and are a good size and weight, weighing approximately 30g. They are engraved with a letter S.

They are clearly hallmarked for Exeter, 1847 and the maker William Pope.

They are in good condition for their age. There are no major damages and they display beautifully. There are some faint surface marks commensurate with age but nothing detrimental. They have been gently cleaned and polished and are ready for use.

The best description comes from the photos so please look at them all carefully and if you have any questions just ask.
