A fine Victorian walnut pier cabinet with richly figured veneers, delicate foliate and string inlay, and refined ormolu mounts. The glazed doors retain their original working lock and key, and the interior shelves are lined in sun‑bleached velvet that beautifully reflects the cabinet’s age. In excellent condition with only light wear, it offers an elegant display space for books or objets d’art.
