Beautiful Sterling Silver Enamel Compact 1927 Antique Hand Painted

Description

A beautiful antique solid sterling silver and enamel compact box. It is hallmarked with the import marks for London 1927 with the importer being HCFLd. It has been superbly designed being guilloche enamelled with a village scene of English cottages, the inside has been gilded. It is in superb condition being free from dings splits chips cracks and repairs other than a tiny area near the hinge see final photo. It measures approx. 2.25 inches (5.7cm) across and weighs 66 grams. A superbly made very high-quality piece.
