Antique Silver Snuff Box

1900 - 1920
Description

A nice example of an oval silver snuff box with hinged lid. The top is decorated with a beautiful repousse hunting scene showing a falconer on horseback and a dog in a countryside scene. The body has a lined decoration with a floral border. It is stylish and good quality, weighing approximately 120g.

It is clearly hallmarked for Chester, 1906, B Muller & Son alongside foreign import marks.

It is in good condition for its age. There are no major damages and it displays beautifully. There are some faint surface marks and some minor signs of age and use and a small dink on the rim but nothing detrimental. It has been gently cleaned and polished and displays beautifully.
