Beautiful silver Art Deco onyx teardrop earrings set in sterling silver with twinkling cut-steel marcasites.

• Condition: The earrings are in very good antique/vintage condition. One of the silver wires is missing from the back but it makes no difference to the integrity of the earring.

• Hallmarks/stamps: Stamped SILVER on each screw and 935 on the back of the dangling connector link. 935 is a silver fineness higher than sterling silver (925) which is most often seen on pieces from Germany, Austria and Switzerland c.1920s-40s.

• Fixing: Silver screw backs.

• Era: Art Deco (c.1920-40).

• Size: 6.5 x 1.5cm.
