18ct Gold Art Nouveau Ruby and Diamond Navette Style Ring with 9ct Gold Band C.1880. The ring is set with 3 rubies the central ruby is (0.05ct) with small (2 point) rubies above and below, with 6 small old cut diamonds set in white gold, the head of the ring tests as 18ct gold and the band tests as 9ct gold. The ring is super quality and a fantastic example of late Victorian jewellery. The head of the ring is a navette style 18ct gold and the band is 9ct gold and has been added later, the head of the ring was possibly a pendant that has been re-purposed as a ring. Nouveau period C.1880's-1900. The face of the ring measures 1.7cm length x 0.6cm wide and the ring weighs 2.1 grams. The ring is a size J. The ring is in excellent condition.
