An English rummer from the Georgian period stands clear and colourless on a square lemon squeezer base with cut facets and a short faceted stem supporting a deep round bowl. Finely wheel-engraved decoration on the front of the bowl displays a three-masted sailing ship with detailed rigging against a faint circular compass rose motif. The glassware exhibits a polished finish and moulded edges along the square foot. Practical dimensions measure 12.5 cm high. Position this glass as a decorative display piece on a traditional sideboard or cabinet in a dining room or living area.
