Unusual Antique Brass & Glass Hanging Light

1900 - 1920
Description

An unusual late 19th. Century brass and glass ceiling light. The shaped brass fittings converted from gas to electricity and fully rewired with modern braided cable in keeping with the age of the piece and is PAT tested. The removable moulded coloured glass shade runs from pale red to yellow and can be placed either way up. The Maximum Height and including the ceiling rose is 37’’/ 94 cm. It is possible to shorten the height by reducing the brass rod by a maximum of 7.5’’/ 19cm. Maximum Width of Brass Fitting 13.5’’/ 34.5cm. Depth of Fittings…7’’/ 17.5cm. Shade Diameter…6.5’’/16.5cm. Original aged finish to the brass and ready for careful installation. Delivery by furniture carrier £35.
