A late Edwardian solid silver stamp box in mint condition, hallmarked Birmingham 1908. The solid silver box with dished base and small bun feet to the corners. Spring loaded hinged top with glazed window for displaying a stamp. The lid opening to reveal a gilt lined interior for storing the stamps and red leather cloth lining to the interior of the lid. Bears the makers mark for Birmingham silversmiths E. S. Barnsley specialists in this type of item, along with clear hallmarks to all sections. Presented in immaculate condition.
