An exceptional vintage platinum ring featuring a 2.14 carat natural, unheated Kashmir sapphire. The sapphire displays a soft cornflower blue, with excellent transparency and the velvety appearance associated with sapphires from the historic Kashmir deposits. The centre is framed by a pair of tapered baguette cut natural diamonds, which taper into a slim platinum shank.
Accompanied by a report from Gemmological Certification Services (GCS) stating the sapphire shows no indication of heating, and originates from Kashmir.
Cut: Oval cut sapphire and tapered baguette cut diamonds.
Colour: The diamonds are G.
Clarity: The sapphire is eye-clean. The diamonds are VS.
Carat: The sapphire is 2.14 carat. The total diamond weight is approximately 0.20 carat.
