Description

A large Pair of Mid 19th Century Antique English Victorian Brass Candlesticks of good quality and interesting design, their elaborate columns rising from square card-cut bases. Each retains it's original push-ejector rod and button for removing the spent candle stub, while a most unusual feature is the legend, "GOOD LUCK" together with a "lucky" horse-shoe stamped upon each base. This giving rise to the thought that this pattern may perhaps originally have been produced for a family of Travellers.
