A very fine rare pair of elegant French late 18th/early 19th century patinated Louis XVI/Directoire gilt bronze ormolu and white marble triple caryatid candlesticks in the manner of Jean-Demosthene Dugourc (1749-1825). Elegant acanthus leaf style gilt bronze candle cups sit atop three patinated classical female caryatids standing upon white marble columns with delicate gilt bronze ormolu tassled chains and banded mounts.
