Circa 1890 Victorian six arm chandelier with a gesso and gilt finish on a giltwood frame. The six scrolling arms are individually numbered and fitted to the central column using traditional mortise and tenon joints with an interference fit, allowing them to be removed for transport. The arms are carved with scrolls and ears and retain their turned wooden candles. The central column is decorated with a William IV style tulip to the top, leading into a barley twist stem and terminating in a further William IV style tulip to the base.
