Italian Giltwood Florentine Chandelier

1920 - 1940
Description

A decorative early 20th century Italian Florentine giltwood antique chandelier with five curved arms, each with hand carved leaf detail and gadroon moulding. The body of the chandelier has a turned tapering central column, with beaded detail and carved leaf decoration, terminating to a foliate finial underneath. The chandelier retains its original gilding and it hangs on an adjustable 11 inch chain.

The light has been rewired and is in working order.

Height – 58 cm (23 inches)

Width – 51 cm (20 inches)

Depth – 51 cm (20 inches)

Circa – 1930
