An outstanding and extremely rare Art Deco walnut and sycamore desk with integrated lamp. This was made in England, it dates from the 1930’s.This is of amazing quality and has a beautiful, useful and unique design. It is fairly petite and has built in fully wired integrated lamp stand that comes out from the desk top. The desk top also has a black leather writing surface and sunken pigeon hole at the back. There is a single drawer with fine, hand cut dovetailed joints and this has a polished back, so can be used as a free standing item.We have had this stripped and re-polished to a very high standard, the lamp is in good working order and we have paired it with an off white pleated shade.
