Large Antique Silver Salver

A fine example of a large solid silver salver dish with Chippendale style wavy rim set on 4 scrolling feet. It is stylish and good quality, weighing approximately 1392g.
 
It is clearly hallmarked for Sheffield, 1916 and the maker James Deakin & Sons.
 
It is in excellent condition for its age. It has never been engraved and there are no major damages. There are some faint surface marks and some minor dinks but nothing detrimental and it displays well. It has been gently cleaned and polished and is ready for use.
