The Earring Curator has dated these 14ct Gold Jade Earrings to the 1940s.

• Condition: Very good vintage condition, with later conversion to secure post fittings. Under certain lights there is a fine line down the centre of one "donut"; it appears to be an internal inclusion, the surface is completely flush and smooth.

• Fixing: Posts and nine-carat gold butterfly scrolls.
• Hallmarks: The backs are stamped 14K and bear a Chinese maker’s stamp. The butterflies are marked 9CT.
• Era: Estimated 1920s-1950.
• Size: 1.7cm diameter.
• Weight: 4.9g.
