Description

This very distinctive solid silver candlesticks were made by James Fenton and are dated Birmingham 1906. Each with a circular, tapering baluster column and detachable sconce. The top with unusual handles, very much in the Arts & Craft manner. Loaded bases with original paper lining.

Full hallmarks struck to the side of each base.

Hallmarks:

J.F for James Fenton.

Birmingham Assay mark.

Lion passant.

Date letter "g" for 1906

Condition:

Good

No dents but minor dIngs commensurate with age.

No pin holes.

Excellent set of marks.

Dimensions:

Height: 15cm high / 6 inches.

Base: 7.5cm / 2.7 inches.
