Catherines Antique Jewellery Box has dated this Gold Gate Link Bracelet to the Victorian era.
The longer links measure 15mm long and the smaller ones are 4mm. The width of the bracelet is 12mm at the widest point. The total length /circumference of the chain is 18cm approx. The chain features a lovely old 9ct antique heart shaped padlock. The padlock works well and appears to be a later replacement as its a slightly lighter gold to the chain. Simple and elegant and ready to wear. The chain is not hallmarked for gold but has been tested for 9ct gold. Very good condition with general wear in accordance with age and probably dates to the late Edwardian era. The bracelet weighs 12.8g
