Antique Caucasian Karabagh Rug 2.40m X 1.37m

A rather funky antique Karabagh rug, hand woven in the Caucasus mountains of modern day Azerbaijan circa 1910. The rug features a repeating floral design in blues and greens on a rich red field surrounded by a charcoal border of meandering flowers. Lovely soft wool and a real statement piece. Spot the small figure hiding in the flowers!
 
Size: 2.40m x 1.37m (7ft 10in x 4ft 6in)
 
This rug is in good condition with light, age related wear. Small, old repair to field, professionally done (see photos). Small area of missing fringe, secured (see photos). Fringes and selvedges are secure and it has been professionally cleaned.
