Round Old Sheffield Plated Basket / Bowl - Crested C1830

Description

This heavy quality round basket is made of Old Sheffield Plate. Bearing no makers marks and dating to c1830, this piece is crested to the handle with a phoenix rising from the flames. With ornate shell edge detailing and sitting well on a pedestal base.

In good condition with slight copper bleed to the raised edges as is to be expected for its age.
