Description

This high quality wine or Champagne cooler which is made of silver plate is by top French silversmith Christofle and dates from the middle of the 20th century.

This vintage wine bucket has a stylish Art Deco design with ring decoration to the body, has stylish ring handles and is a good heavy weight. This Champagne cooler is signed to the underside with it's maker's marks and comes in a Christofle anti tarnish cloth storage bag.

A wonderful usable piece of high quality French barware that also looks very nice on display.

Marked: Marked to base with the maker's marks for Christofle: Christofle France. Chess piece OC mark.

Dimensions: Diameter:19 cm (7 1/2"). Diameter including side handles: 24 cm (9 1/2"). Height: 20.5 cm (8").

Weight: 1460 g.

Condition: Excellent used vintage condition with light signs of use in keeping with age. Some light surface scratches. The inside is clean with a little wear and marks. Please see pictures.

Please note that only the wine cooler is included and any other items in the pictures are for display only.
