Rare Edwardian Silver Hedgehog Pin Cushion by Adie & Lovekin, Birmingham 1906

Description

This exquisite Edwardian silver hedgehog pin cushion bears the marks of Adie & Lovekin and is dated Birmingham 1906. The textured body pierced with small holes to place pins. Silver hedgehog pin cushions in good condition are few and far between and this is a lovely example.

Hallmarks:

A&LLD for Adie & Lovekin.

Birmingham Assay Mark.

Lion Passant.

Date letter "g" for 1906.

Condition:

Very good.

Body in excellent condition.

Dimensions:

Length: 4cm / 1.5 inches.

Height: 3cm / 1.2 inches.

Width: 2.5cm / 1 inch.
