This silver pin cushion in the form of clog dates to 1921 was assayed in Birmingham and carries a makers mark which may be for Gorham & Co, the American silversmiths, there is another very similar mark for G Mills & Co, although this maker has a slightly different outline.? Registered design number 497197. The base is wooden and has lovely detail with the pins and rim that clogs would have had at the time.
