The top has a slight raised lip to the back edge, adding a subtle detail. Constructed from solid pine, the piece displays a lovely warm colour and natural character throughout, with plenty of charm. A simple and functional piece, ideal for use as a blanket box or general storage.

CONDITION REPORT:
In good antique condition throughout with some signs of age. There is surface wear including age-related marks, knocks and scratches consistent with use. There is evidence of historic woodworm, particularly to the plinth base, however this is now long gone and has been treated as a precaution. The trunk remains structurally solid and sound. Overall, a good, honest example.
