An Edwardian Novelty Silver Mounted Match/toothpick Holder

A wonderful silver mounted toothpick or match holder, dating from the elegant Edwardian era. This charming example is a novelty piece formed to represent a coal scuttle. The body is in optically ribbed emerald green glass, with a hallmarked silver mount. An interesting and rare collector's item, with a practical use. Dimensions below.

Condition :- Good with no cracks or chips to the glass body. The silver is without damage.

Hallmarks :- Softening but readable.
