The bookcase is arranged in three glazed sections, the two outer compartments feature shelves edged with scalloped leather dust-covers, tooled with gilt floral motifs — a luxurious detail rarely seen and wonderfully preserved. The central door is adorned with fine marquetry inlay, Additional ormolu mounts enrich the corners and lower panels. Inside, the bookcase offers generous storage and display space, with clean, well-kept interiors. This is a striking statement bookcase, ready to bring warmth, refinement and history to any interior.
