A beautiful 20th century oriental carved camphor wood trunk. The camphor wood trunk features amazing carved detail throughout, depicting scenes of oriental life. The carved wood trunk has a hinged lid to the top, which opens to reveal a spacious interior, along with a pleasing camphor wood aroma. The clasp comes complete with a traditional lock and key (pictured). The antique trunk has carved panelled sides and is raised on carved claw feet. A rather pleasing example.

CONDITION REPORT:

In good antique condition throughout with some signs of age. There is surface wear in places including age-related marks to the tops and edges. There is some fading as pictured, but this does not detract from the overall appeal of the piece. The hinges run smoothly. A lovely example.
