Large 100g English Sterling Silver Tea Strainer and Drip Bowl Stand 1935

1920 - 1940
Description

A super quality large English solid sterling silver tea strainer and drip bowl stand. It is hallmarked for Birmingham 1935 with the maker being JBC&SLtd. They have been superbly made and is in superb condition being free from splits distortions and repairs, a tiny faint dimple to the bowl side see final photo. The strainer measures over 5.25 inches (13.6cm) across including the handles and over 2.75 inches (7.2cm) across excluding them by 0.75 inch (1.9cm) deep and the bowl over 2.75 inches across by over 1.5 inches (4cm) tall and combined they weigh 100 grams. A very well made set.
