A Rare Victorian Silver Mounted Wall Hanging Frame

A handsome and unusual silver photo frame dating from the end of the Victorian era. This gorgeous example is of portrait form with a flame mahogany veneered border and hallmarked silver insert. Unusually, the frame is not a table standing example, but has a ring to the reverse top to facilitate hanging on a wall. This is a lovely and versatile piece, perfect for a single portrait or couple. Condition :- Excellent with no splits, dents or holes. The inner back panel has been replaced at some point, commensurate with age and use.
