Antique 19th century fine quality breakfront bookcase in mahogany, an exceptional and imposing piece of furniture of the very finest quality. The beautifully glazed upper section houses nine adjustable shelves, offering generous and flexible display and storage space, and comes complete with a key.

To the centre are three drawers, all retaining their original brass handles and fittings. Below these are three blind door cupboards; the centre and left cupboards each contain a single internal shelf, while the right-hand cupboard has two, providing excellent practical storage.

The piece is stood on a solid plinth base and displays subtle carved detailing to the corners, adding refinement without detracting from its elegant proportions.

The mahogany shows breathtaking figuring and stunning, rich colour throughout, making this a very rare and highly desirable example. Very well made and in great condition, the bookcase comes apart into two sections for ease of transport.

A truly beautiful piece of furniture that has to be seen in person to be fully appreciated, and a perfect statement addition to any home.

All our pieces are professionally wrapped in black plastic and sent though a trusted private courier which we can organise upon your request.

The delivery service consists of a two man team with a delivery timeframe of 3 - 15 working days from the date payment has been received. Please contact us to discuss any specific requirements and we will do our upmost to accommodate these, although no guarantees can be given.

The courier will be in contact with you directly with details of exact delivery date and approximate time of arrival.

We currently cover all of the UK Mainlands including most of Scotland.
