Antique 20th century linen fold blanket box in oak, very well made and of good quality.
This attractive piece features a large storage compartment to the centre, accessed via a lift-up lid retaining its original hinges. The front is beautifully decorated with classic linen fold carving, adding strong character and period charm.
Stood on a solid plinth base, the blanket box displays a gorgeous grain and warm oak colour throughout.
It is of a nice, usable size and remains in good condition, with a solid and sturdy feel. A very desirable example, both practical and decorative, making it a perfect addition to any home for use as storage, seating, or an eye-catching feature piece.
