Antique Silver Art Nouveau Basket

1900 - 1920
Description

This is a very attractive solid sterling silver basket.

It is clearly hallmarked for Birmingham 1907. The unusual scrolled decoration flows from the fixed shaped handle, which is well attached to the bowl. The basket stands upon a circular pedestal base which has a slight wobble. The silver is in an excellent condition.

Height: 13cm

Width: 12cm

Diameter of top: 8.5cm
