French 18k Yellow Gold Citrine Witch's Heart Charm Pendant

A French 18 karat (18K) yellow gold pendant designed as a witch''s heart set with a citrine weighing approximately 7 carats. Witch''s hearts are supposed to grant protection against ill-meaning spirits and witches. Stamped with the eagle''s head for 18 karat gold and French manufacture and a partial maker''s mark.

Condition: Some conchoidal fractures and nibbling to the edges of the citrine, light abrasions consistent with the age of the piece.
