This is an antique silver plated push button folding biscuit box or warmer. Standing on four scrolled feet which supports the frame. There are two shell shaped dishes either side. By pushing the two buttons it unlocks and drops down to reveal two pierced dishes. These pierced dishes fold down or slots into place to be vertical. c.1880 British made with a patent number stamped underneath. This has been replated and reguilded.
