Antique George III Sterling Silver Cast Candlesticks - 1760

Description

A fine pair of antique George III sterling silver cast candlesticks which have hexagonal shaped bases with shell designs, decorative columns and detachable nozzles with the same shell detailing. These heavy and well made cast silver candlesticks remain in excellent condition and would be perfect to use on the dining table. There is a crest on the base of each candlestick.

Height: 23.6 cms (9.3")

Diameter of base: 13.9 cms (5.5")

Weight: 36.6 troy ounces (1,138 grams)

They were hallmarked in London for 1760 by Ebenezer Coker.
