This distinctive solid silver hip flask was made by William Neale and is hallmarked for Birmingham 1920. It has an unusual curved crescent form designed to fit comfortably in a pocket and a hinged flip bayonet lid with locking mechanism. The inner flip lid impressed with a patented registration number.
The flat narrow pedestal base allowing the flask to stand upright. It has a good silver gauge and all parts are separately hallmarked.
