Description

This stunning solid silver and polished agate letter opener or paper knife was made by Moses Brent and dated London 1812. The agate handle an unusual brown and cream marbled colour. Mounted with a decorative silver ferrule and hallmarked solid silver blade . It combines elegance with practicality.

Hallmarks:

MB fot Moses Brent.

London Assay mark.

Lion Passant.

Date letters "R" for 1812.

Condition:

Very good.

Dimensions:

Length: 21.5cm / 8.4 inches.
